My first English Fish&Chips experience. The meal was really tasty, staff helpful. There is just nothing I can complain about 🙂
We had a lovely meal here. Quick and friendly service. We had one haddock and one cod, chips and mushy peas. The cod was flavourful and a little more meaty than the haddock, which was lighter and fluffier. The batter was crispy and delicious. Both the chips and the fish were not at all oily or greasy, and, for fish and chips in central London, very good value for money.
The great "fish and chips" experience in the heart of Marylebone. A brilliant place, with delicious reasonably-priced food. A must !
Food was excellent. Just watch out - they add tip to bill and then card machine asks again for gratuity. Bit of a cheap trick to catch out tourists.
The golden hind serves 'proper' fish and chips. They now have an alcohol license so you can drink with your chips. All the classics. available to sit in or take away. can be very busy on a Friday lunchtime - but if you go other days its calmer.
The small cod and chips is plenty unless you are very hungry.
